Monastic life in Brixen

The monastic district of Brixen is situated in the quiet southern part of the town. St. Clare's Convent, built during the lifetime of St. Clare at around 1235 and generally closed to the public, is a particularly venerable example. In the visitors' cell a nun will give you an impression of life in a convent. The guided tour continues with the garden of the Tertiary Sisters.
